2. Authenticity & Honest Representation
Your profile is your first impression. Be truthful about:
- Your age, marital status, and relationship history
- Your religion, caste, and community background
- Your education level and current profession
- Your intentions and lifestyle choices
Deception damages trust for everyone. Fake profiles result in account suspension or permanent ban.
3. Respect for Personal Boundaries
Everyone is in control of their own pace. Honor that.
- Never pressure anyone for personal contact information
- Respect when someone declines your interest
- Wait for mutual interest before escalating conversations
- Ask permission before discussing sensitive matters
Consequences: First violation—warning. Second violation—temporary suspension. Third violation—permanent ban.
4. Zero Tolerance for Inappropriate Content & Behavior
Strictly prohibited:
- Sexual or suggestive content (images or messages)
- Vulgar, degrading, or profane language
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
- Caste-based discrimination or comments
- Religious intolerance or mockery
- Gender discrimination or sexist comments
- Abusive language (verbal, emotional, or passive-aggressive)
Consequences: First serious violation—account suspension. Second violation—permanent ban. Criminal behavior reported to law enforcement.
5. Protect Yourself & Others: Financial Security
Matrimonial fraud is real. Never share:
- Bank account numbers or card details
- OTP (One-Time Password)
- Government ID copies (Aadhar, PAN)
- Loan documents or financial statements
- Family business details
Red flags—report immediately: Money requests, financial help stories, gift card demands, transfer requests, or visa sponsorship claims.
Corishta's commitment: We will NEVER ask for passwords, OTPs, or financial information.
6. Account Security & Integrity
- Use a strong password (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols)
- Don't share login credentials with anyone
- Log out from shared or public devices
- One person = one account (clearly label if family manages it)
- Bot accounts or fake profiles are immediately banned
7. No Spam, Promotions, or Commercial Activity
Prohibited:
- Promoting products, services, or businesses
- Sharing referral links or pyramid schemes
- Job solicitation or recruitment
- Fundraising or collecting donations
- Sharing promotional content or advertisements
Consequences: First violation—warning. Second violation—account suspension. Repeated violations—permanent ban.
8. Stay Active or Your Profile May Be Removed
Profiles inactive for 12 months may be removed. Log in regularly to stay visible. An inactive community becomes stale—new members expect active, engaged matches.
9. Respectful Language & Conduct
Encouraged:
- Discussing values, goals, and future plans
- Asking about education, profession, and lifestyle
- Speaking about family expectations and cultural traditions
- Respectful disagreement if values don't align
Discouraged: Gossip, invasive questions, excessive past relationship discussions, or language making others uncomfortable.
10. Report & Support: Your Voice Matters
Encountered inappropriate behavior? Report it. We act within 24 hours.
Report:
- Use the Report button on any profile or message

- Every report is confidential and thoroughly investigated
Consequences of Rule Violations
- First Offense: Warning notification with explanation
- Second Offense: Temporary suspension (7-30 days)
- Third Offense: Permanent ban with account data deletion
- Severe Violations: Immediate permanent ban and law enforcement reporting
