Trust & Safety Executive

Role Overview

As Trust and Safety Executive you respond when something is wrong: a member reports a suspicious account, a profile raises a safety concern, or a consultant raises a fraud case. You will investigate carefully, apply the platform’s policies, and make decisions you can defend afterwards.

Salary

This is a full-time salaried position. Salary for this role is confirmed individually during the hiring process and is based on experience; no fixed figure is advertised at this stage.

Responsibilities

• Handle reported suspicious accounts and safety complaints
• Investigate each case carefully and reach a decision that can be explained and reviewed
• Apply the trust and safety policies consistently, and escalate the ambiguous cases
• Restrict or suspend accounts where the policy requires it
• Work with customer care on complaints that involve safety as well as service
• Keep complete records of every investigation and decision
• Report patterns in the complaints so they can be addressed upstream

Preferred Skills

Candidate Profile

• Two or more years in trust and safety, moderation, fraud investigation or a related role
• Good judgement and the ability to work with incomplete information
• Strong written English and Hindi
• Discretion and impartiality when handling complaints about other people
• Careful record keeping, since the decisions must be auditable
• Experience in an Indian consumer platform with a member base
• Knowledge of Indian identity and address verification norms
• Familiarity with content moderation practice
