State Operations Manager

Role Overview

As State Operations Manager you are accountable for how Corishta performs in one state. You will manage the district managers in your state, hold them to the operating standards, and make sure the state’s monthly numbers are real. You will spend most of your time with the districts rather than at a desk, and you will be judged on the quality of the operations you have built, not on the volume of your reporting.

Salary

This is a full-time salaried position. Salary for this role is confirmed individually during the hiring process and is based on experience; no fixed figure is advertised at this stage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the district managers within the state and coach them on performance
• Review district operating standards and make sure they are followed
• Own the state-level reporting pack and ensure the numbers behind it are accurate
• Travel to districts and review operations directly with the teams
• Identify districts that are struggling and turn them around with a written plan
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding for new district teams
• Represent the state to the National Operations Head and report honestly on the state’s position
• Support the opening of new districts within the state

Preferred Skills

Candidate Profile

• Six or more years in operations, with at least three years managing district, branch or city teams
• Experience leading teams in Tier 2 and Tier 3 locations
• Strong working knowledge of field operations and of how district teams are measured
• Comfort with operational metrics and with holding managers accountable
• Extensive travel within the assigned state
• Experience in a consumer services or network-distributed business
• Exposure to matrimonial or allied relationship services
• Experience opening new districts
