Important: This is a regular internal HR position and is separate from the commission-based Consultant opportunity described below.
Role Overview
As State HR Coordinator you are the HR presence in one state. You will handle recruitment for the district teams in your state, keep the employee records for that state accurate, and be the first point of contact for the state’s team. Because the role covers a whole state, you will work independently and you will need to travel.
Salary
This is a full-time salaried position. Salary for this role is confirmed individually during the hiring process and is based on experience; no fixed figure is advertised at this stage.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment for district teams within the assigned state
- Maintain employee records, attendance and leave information for the state
- Support onboarding and induction for new joiners in the state
- Coordinate training and certification programmes with the state operations team
- Handle routine employee queries and escalate the ones needing a decision
- Report on hiring, attrition and headcount for the state to the HR team
- Verify that district teams follow the standard people processes

Candidate Profile
- Three or more years in HR or recruitment
- Experience working within a single state and travelling across it
- Working knowledge of local labour norms and documentation practice
- Strong organisation and the ability to work without close supervision
- Fluency in the state language and working English
- Experience recruiting for field teams in Tier 2 and Tier 3 locations
- Familiarity with the local candidate market
- Experience with HRMS software
