State Community Manager

Role Overview

As State Community Manager you build the local matrimonial community that Corishta operates within. You will work with community leaders, families and local organisations to create genuine engagement, and you will coordinate the community activity across the districts of your state. The role is about trust and relationships rather than promotion.

Salary

This is a full-time salaried position. Salary for this role is confirmed individually during the hiring process and is based on experience; no fixed figure is advertised at this stage.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with community leaders and family groups across the state
• Coordinate community engagement activity across the districts
• Organise and run community meetings and family orientation events
• Work with consultants to understand what local families actually need
• Coordinate with business development on partner-led community activity
• Report community feedback to the operations and product teams
• Maintain records of community engagement in each district

Preferred Skills

Candidate Profile

• Four or more years in community engagement, partnerships or a related field role
• Excellent relationship-building skills and a genuine interest in people
• Strong spoken communication in the state language and in Hindi
• Working English for reporting
• Willingness to travel across the state regularly
• Experience in a community, trust-based or membership organisation
• Existing networks in the assigned state
• Exposure to matrimonial or wedding services
