Profile Verification Executive

Role Overview

As Profile Verification Executive you check the profiles that members submit. You will confirm that the information is genuine, that it meets the verification standard, and that anything suspicious is escalated rather than passed. Accuracy matters more than speed here: a profile that passes incorrectly damages real families.

Salary

This is a full-time salaried position. Salary for this role is confirmed individually during the hiring process and is based on experience; no fixed figure is advertised at this stage.

Responsibilities

• Review submitted profiles against the verification procedures
• Confirm that identity, contact and personal information are consistent and genuine
• Check that profiles meet the standards for the photographs and information they contain
• Escalate anything suspicious rather than making a judgement alone
• Record every verification decision accurately and keep the audit trail complete
• Meet the verification turnaround targets without compromising the checks
• Work with the trust and safety team on the cases that need a specialist

Preferred Skills

Candidate Profile

• One or more years in verification, background checks, document review or a similar detail-focused role
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot an inconsistency
• Strong written English and Hindi
• Comfortable using internal tools and comparing documents carefully
• Honesty and impartiality when applying the verification standard
• Experience verifying identity or address documents
• Familiarity with Indian address and identity documents
• Experience with a verification or fraud operations team
