Head of Trust & Safety

Role Overview

As Head of Trust and Safety you own the part of Corishta that determines whether families can rely on the platform. You will lead verification, fraud prevention and content moderation, and you will set the policies that decide what is acceptable on a service where people share deeply personal information. This is a role for someone who can build a rigorous operating standard and hold it under pressure.

Salary

This is a full-time salaried leadership position with a fixed annual salary. The published range is a market-referenced band and is confirmed individually before an offer is made.

Fixed component: ₹24,00,000 – ₹36,00,000 per annum

Responsibilities

• Set and own the verification, fraud prevention and moderation standards for the platform
• Build and lead the verification, trust and safety and content moderation teams
• Design the fraud detection and prevention approach, including patterns of abuse and misuse
• Own the policy for handling reported accounts, fraudulent activity and inappropriate content
• Work with engineering on the tooling that makes verification and moderation scalable
• Build the reporting and audit trail that allows decisions to be reviewed
• Train customer care and consultants on what to do when a safety concern is raised
• Report risk posture and incident trends to the leadership team

Preferred Skills

Candidate Profile

• Eight or more years in trust and safety, fraud, moderation, verification or a related discipline
• Experience leading an operations team with measurable quality and throughput targets
• Strong grasp of fraud typologies and of how bad actors abuse consumer platforms
• Judgement in ambiguous cases, and the ability to write rules that other people can apply
• Experience working closely with engineering and product teams
• Experience in an Indian consumer platform with a large member base
• Knowledge of Indian identity and address verification norms
• Exposure to privacy and data protection practice
