Head of Human Resources

Role Overview

As Head of Human Resources you own how Corishta attracts, develops and retains people. You will build the recruitment function that the whole business depends on, write and maintain the policies that protect both the company and its employees, and handle the employee relations that a fast-growing, widely distributed organisation inevitably produces. Much of the work is building rather than administering, because the HR function is young and the shape is still yours to set.

Salary

This is a full-time salaried leadership position with a fixed annual salary. The published range is a market-referenced band and is confirmed individually before an offer is made.

Fixed component: ₹24,00,000 – ₹36,00,000 per annum

Responsibilities

• Own recruitment strategy end to end, from role definition and sourcing through offer and onboarding
• Build the workforce plan that matches headcount to the district expansion schedule
• Write, maintain and communicate HR policies across all states
• Handle employee relations cases, including grievances and performance issues, fairly and consistently
• Own performance management, including the review cycle and the development conversations behind it
• Design and run onboarding that gets new joiners productive, including consultants and field roles
• Advise the leadership team on organisation structure, as roles are added and teams grow
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of personal data
• Work with state heads on the people side of every new district opening
• Report on hiring numbers, attrition and workforce cost to the leadership team

Preferred Skills

Candidate Profile

• Ten or more years of HR experience, with at least four years leading an HR function
• Strong hands-on recruitment experience, including high-volume and field hiring
• Sound knowledge of employment practices and of employee relations in India
• Experience writing and operationalising HR policy in a distributed organisation
• A confidential and even-handed approach to handling employee matters
• Experience in a consumer services or field-network organisation
• Experience building HR functions from an early stage
• Exposure to HR technology and applicant tracking systems
