District Team Leader

Role Overview

As District Team Leader you supervise the executives working in a district and make sure the daily work happens properly. You will brief the team, check the quality of what they do, and handle the problems that arise during the day. You are the link between the district manager and the people doing the work.

Salary

This is a full-time salaried position. Salary for this role is confirmed individually during the hiring process and is based on experience; no fixed figure is advertised at this stage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the district executives and their daily activities
• Brief the team each day and check that the plan is being followed
• Review the quality of the work done and coach the team on it
• Handle routine problems and escalations during the day
• Submit the daily activity and attendance reporting accurately
• Support new joiners in the district during their first weeks
• Report team performance to the District Manager

Preferred Skills

Candidate Profile

• Two or more years supervising field or service staff
• Strong communication and the ability to lead a small team
• Fluent in the local language and in Hindi, with working English
• Careful and accurate reporting
• Willingness to travel within the district
• Experience as a team leader in a field operation
• Familiarity with the district and its community
• Basic knowledge of the consultant role
