District Community Manager

Role Overview

As District Community Manager you are the relationship between Corishta and the families of one district. You will build relationships with families and local community groups, help them understand how the service works, and make sure the introductions that happen are the right ones. You will be known and trusted locally.

Salary

This is a full-time salaried position. Salary for this role is confirmed individually during the hiring process and is based on experience; no fixed figure is advertised at this stage.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with local families and community groups
• Help families understand Corishta services and the registration process
• Coordinate community meetings and family orientation sessions in the district
• Work with consultants to ensure family introductions are appropriate
• Collect feedback from families and pass it to the district team
• Maintain records of the families and communities the district has engaged with
• Support the District Manager with local reputation and trust

Preferred Skills

Candidate Profile

• Two or more years in community engagement, customer relations or a relationship role
• Strong local presence and genuine familiarity with the district community
• Excellent spoken communication in the local language and in Hindi
• Working English
• Working knowledge of the consultant and matching process
• Existing community networks in the district
• Experience in a trust-based or community organisation
• Exposure to matrimonial or wedding services
