Content Moderation Executive

Role Overview

As Content Moderation Executive you review the content members and consultants post, and you remove what should not be there. You will work to the moderation policy, apply it consistently and sensitively, and record what you have decided so the decisions can be reviewed.

Salary

This is a full-time salaried position. Salary for this role is confirmed individually during the hiring process and is based on experience; no fixed figure is advertised at this stage.

Responsibilities

• Review reported and flagged content against the moderation policy
• Apply moderation decisions consistently and sensitively
• Escalate the content that falls outside the written policy
• Take action on accounts that repeatedly breach the policy
• Keep complete records of every moderation decision
• Flag recurring patterns of abuse so they can be addressed at the source
• Work with the trust and safety team on the more serious cases

Preferred Skills

Candidate Profile

• One or more years in content moderation, publishing or a related review role
• Comfort reviewing content that may be distressing or offensive
• Careful, impartial judgement and the ability to work to a written policy
• Strong written English and Hindi
• Good mental resilience and access to support when needed
• Experience in a trust and safety or community operations team
• Familiarity with social media content standards
• Hindi, Marathi or another regional language
