Compliance Executive

Role Overview

As Compliance Executive you keep the company’s regulatory and policy obligations under control. You will track what the business must comply with, maintain the evidence that it does, and support the leadership team and the legal advisers when documentation is needed.

Salary

This is a full-time salaried position. Salary for this role is confirmed individually during the hiring process and is based on experience; no fixed figure is advertised at this stage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the compliance requirements register and track what is outstanding
• Prepare and file the statutory and regulatory documentation on time
• Maintain the evidence that supports the company’s compliance position
• Support internal audits and external audits with complete documentation
• Coordinate with legal advisers on regulatory correspondence
• Deliver compliance training and make sure the policies are understood on the ground
• Raise compliance risks to the leadership team as they arise

Preferred Skills

Candidate Profile

• Three or more years in compliance, legal support or a related governance role
• Strong working knowledge of company and regulatory compliance in India
• Excellent written English and working Hindi
• Highly organised and able to track many obligations at once
• Discretion and care with sensitive documents
• Experience in a consumer or internet platform
• Familiarity with data protection and privacy obligations
• Experience with statutory audits
