Role Overview
As AI Integration Developer you will look for the places where the platform can be made genuinely more useful by machine assistance, and you will build those features carefully. You will integrate AI services into existing PHP and MySQL applications, design the prompts and evaluation that make them reliable, and be careful about the limits of what these systems can do, particularly where a family’s information is involved.
Salary
This is a full-time salaried position. Salary for this role is confirmed individually during the hiring process and is based on experience; no fixed figure is advertised at this stage.
Responsibilities
- Identify and build AI-assisted features that measurably improve the member experience
- Integrate external AI services into the existing PHP and MySQL applications
- Design and maintain the prompts, evaluation sets and quality checks for those features
- Build reliable fallbacks so that the core journey still works when an AI service is slow or unavailable
- Work with the trust and safety team to ensure AI features meet the platform’s standards
- Measure the real effect of each feature on outcomes, and retire what does not help

Candidate Profile
- Three or more years of software development experience
- Strong PHP and MySQL skills, with real integration experience
- Practical experience with at least one large language model API
- Understanding of prompt design, evaluation and the failure modes of these systems
- Judgement about where AI genuinely helps and where it should not be used at all
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation and vector search
- Familiarity with the native Android and iOS applications
- Exposure to privacy-preserving handling of personal data
